After much demand I am finally getting some more eeva dresses made up. This one is now up in my shop and I have two more designs coming. I think this print is fantastic for christmas time. Don't worry if you don't live in a warm climate - My daughter wears hers over a pair of jeans and a long t-shirt for a bohemian chic look. Or pair them over a t-shirt and leggings to dress up a dull outfit. Available exclusively at LEMONS AND LOLLIS!
I guess you could say my daughter is becoming quite spoiled. Now, that I am adding all these new products to my shop I always make sure to set one aside for her. Not only to have my built in product tester, but often when a new shipment arrives she immediately thinks it's something for her. So needless to say both of us were screaming with joy when the shipment of vinyl critters showed up! I have to give Stephanie (the creator and artists) a huge shout - out! I am so in love with these critters I honestly stole my daughters from her. Maybe it's the vinyl - it's so flexible and soft - I was pretty surprised by this fact. Or... it could be the smell of the vinyl; maybe it reminded me of my dad's old el Camino. If you are reading this and saying to your self "what the heck is an el Camino" you are seriously going to make me feel old - so just play along!
Anyways, back to my product tester - a.k.a. my daughter. She immediately grabs the pink giraffe (which she has now adopted as her own)... and made him walk across the floor. She then started making this elephant noise (I'm still am not sure if she knows the difference between a giraffe and an elephant - or it could be that mommy can't quite distinguish the noises either). It was so darn cute I went to grab my camera. Unfortunately my batteries were dead and I missed that Kodak moment. Long story short I am screaming with joy to share these vinyl critters with you. I am so excited to be back open! It has been a busy month for me finalizing our fall collection and building our new and improved website. I would love to hear feedback - I'm not a website designer by any means so this was a big undertaking for me! I learned a lot though and I am so glad I ventured down that path.
Before I highlight some items in my fall collection I want to send much thanks to all the wonderful comments and support I have received from so many of my customers! You guys rock!
So we have a ton of new stuff... but I wanted to highlight a few special items here. These are all limited editions. Only one is available in each size in each color combo - so if you see something you like I suggest you buy it now. Once they are sold, no more will be made. I hope you like them as much as I do - these were by far the most fun I had sewing my fall collection.
I also made this sweet tote for my daughter who just celebrated her second birthday. It turned out so cute, I decided to make 3 more to sell in my shop. Once these are sold - no more will be made.
Finally, I have made the decision to expand my website and start carrying some fabulous Handmade Items from other wonderful designers. I am choosing items that I had bought for my daughter, that I feel are unique, well made, and stand the torture of a 2 year old! Here is the latest addition - but I have a lot more coming!

I am so utterly thrilled with Joel Dewberry's new line. I am working on the most fabulous boys collection using his fabrics and I am so excited to get these in my shop! So I figured I would give you a sneak peak! This collection will be quite a bit different from my typical onesie, bib and burp cloths - so I hope you check back soon or Subscribe to this blog to receive notification when this hits my shop! These will surely take the baby world by storm! These aren't for your average baby boys - but for the hip and trendy fella who isn't afraid of color and patterns!

I have been "chomping' at the bit" (who says that anyways)... to make toddler dresses - partly because my little sweet pea can't wear my creations anymore - she is growing like a weed!!! Plus.. I wanted to create lines that wouldn't leave big sis out. My goal is to have a baby collection and a coordinating toddler girl collection. That way when the new baby is born - big sis can get a little surprise too!!!
When I came across Joel Dewberry's new collection - I knew this was it! I am so pleased with how this dress turned out. It's simple and classic design will make it timeless. It is extremely well constructed with surged seams that are completely encased in the dress - making it a great hand-me-down dress lasting lifetimes. It is reversible giving you two designer looks in one. Plus it is roomy enough you can layer it over a simple white t-shirt and jeans as the seasons begin to change giving your little girl that bohemian chic look! Finally, the cherry on top, I will use it as a cover-up. My daughters latest trick is dribbling her drink down her chin and onto whatever clothes she happens to be wearing. So... I'll keep one in my bag and when we are out shopping and we need a quick wardrobe change - I can throw it over her clothes and we are off!!!

I just got this Alexander Henry Fabric in - I have to tell you - it is so fabulous!!! The modern white birds on a turquoise backdrop with large raspberry flowers, baby tangerine flowers, plum and lime accents is just to die for!!! So I just finished a custom collection for the nicest lady. This set was made to coordinate with her daughters ballet class. I absolutely adore how this collection turned out. I will definitely need to repeat it in other fabrics (the ones in the pictures are the ones the customer sent to me - :( - they were so cute!!! Anyways.. Here are the pics - and no - they aren't for sale in my shop - I'll have to find that special fabric I can remake these appliques in.
I absolutely love Japanese fabric. They have the best designers - and unfortunately it cost a fortune to import it from Japan. BUT... I couldn't resist! I had to make something out of this fabulous house fabric I found. I call this my "New Kid on the Block" collection - and no - I am not celebrating the band from the 1990's! So... I just got off the phone with the Editor of Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine! I had received an email from them earlier today inquiring about featuring my store in their October issue!!! I am so utterly thrilled right now! They specifically want to feature my Urban Chicks Collection. Which is personally one of my favorites!! So I am currently calling everyone I know and sharing this incredible news!! I can't wait to see the article! How lucky am I!
